Parking

Metered parking (30-minute and 2-hour) is available on Mass Ave, as well as residential parking in the area.We recommend downloading the Passport Parking app for easier payment.

Appointment Duration

The eye exam itself takes approximately 20–30 minutes.Please arrive 10–15 minutes early if you have not yet completed your forms or submitted your insurance information.

What Should I Bring?

• A valid Photo ID
• Your medical insurance card and vision plan information (if applicable)
• Your current glasses or prescription

Do I Need a Referral?

In most cases, a referral is not required, but certain insurance plans may require one. Please check with your provider.

We offer basic repairs and frame adjustments. A waiver may be required for certain services.

Contact Lens Exams

Contact lens exams are not covered by medical insurance, but some vision plans may offer partial coverage.Fees vary based on lens type:

• Soft contact lens fitting: $278–$298
• RGP (rigid gas permeable): $350

Can I Use My FSA/HSA?

Yes! We accept Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA) and Health Savings Accounts (HSA).Please bring your card to your visit.We will provide a receipt for reimbursement if needed.Note: Refunds or charges added to the card after the visit may not be possible.

• Routine eye exam: $210
• Soft contact lens fitting: $278–$298
• RGP lens fitting: $350

Will I Be Dilated? Can I Drive After?

We use retinal imaging, which provides a detailed view of your retina without the side effects of dilation.In some cases, dilation drops may still be necessary.

• Retinal imaging fee: $45 (or $39 with select vision plans)You can usually drive afterward unless dilation drops are used.

Do I Need to Bring My Records?

In most cases, it is not necessary to bring past records.However, please bring your current glasses or a copy of your most recent prescription.

Diabetic Eye Exams

We offer comprehensive diabetic eye exams. Please ensure your medical provider has referred you if your plan requires it.

Are You Wheelchair Accessible?

Yes, our clinic is wheelchair accessible.However, the patient must be able to transfer into the exam chair with assistance if needed.

How Long Does It Take to Get Glasses?

Most orders are ready within 7–10 business days.Currently, we do not offer same-day orders, though we are working to provide this option in the future.Note: Orders using vision plans cannot be fulfilled same-day.
